The Dexter Collection: He Saw, She Saw

Okay, let's start off these 9 days with He Saw, She Saw! The reason why I will be posting all the polishes one by one is because I really really like to see a lot of pictures of one swatch. That way I can see all the different details of the polish instead of just one photo. And YES, these posts will be picture-heavy. Sorry, not sorry.

He Saw, She Saw is a nude base with various sizes of grey hexes and small iridescent hexes and it is infused with a gorgeous iredescent light green/blue shimmer.

This is 3 coats of He Saw, She Saw on its own. No dragging, dabbing or fishing needed with this polish! It has a nice consistency and it applies very well. I put on top coat to smooth everything out a bit.

In the macros above you can clearly see the different types of glitter in this polish. Various sized grey hexes, irridescent hexes, a beautiful shimmer. He Saw, She Saw is a very wearable lacquer and it is not too in your face, but it has something different. And that something is what makes this polish so pretty.

This beauty is available on Etsy and Llarowe. You can keep up with Cadillacquer on Facebook!

Tomorrow I will be posting Have A Killer Day, so stay tuned for that one!

He Saw, She Saw was sent to me for my honest review.

The Dexter Collection by Cadillacquer

Hey guys! I got something pretty exciting to show you today: bottleshots of the complete Dexter collection by Cadillacquer! WHOOP

This collection is inspired by one of Madeleine's favourite TV series: (you guessed it right!) Dexter. The next 9 days I will post a swatch of each polish everyday, and afterwards I will post an overview of all 9 of them.

He Saw, She Saw is a nude crelly with various sizes of grey hexes and small irridescent hexes and it is infused with a gorgous irredescent blue shimmer.

Have a Killer Day is a grey crelly base with various sizes of matte neon pink squares and matte neon coral hexes. It also has teeny tiny coral and purple glitter and a beautiful irredescent shimmer.

It's Going To Happen Again is a blue base with white and light blue squares and mini glitters and a greenish/golden shimmer in it.

Keep Breathing is a super gorgeous greenish teal packed with lilac glitter and irridescent glitter.

Masterpiece is a green jelly with blood red hexes in different sizes. Feels so Christmas-y to me, haha! :-D

Slice of Life is a bright red jelly infused with a blue shimmer, which makes it quite pink to me. Application is FLAWLESS.

The Dark Defender is a dark turquoise jelly base filled with lots and lots of flakies. This one looks so pretty on your nails, sigh.

The End Begins is a hunter green jelly infused with a copper shimmer and gold glitter.

Tonight's The Night is a purple base jelly with a strong blue shimmer, holographic turquoise squares and small holographic turquoise glitter.

The Dexter Collection is available on Etsy and Llarowe. Hurry before they sell out!

Which one is definitely going into you shoppingcart?

The polishes in this post were sent to me for my honest review.

Très Chic Rectangular Studs

Hi everyone! Today I'll be showing you some really gorgeous studs from KKCenterHK and my first real attempt ever on outlined nails.

And when I say first real attempt, I litterally mean first real attempt. I already have some posts with glitter outlined nails, but not with painted outlined nails so.. TADAA! I used NYC City Black Out and Essence Café Olé.

For the accent nail I used these 4mmx2mm silver studs I kindly received from KKCenterHK. I picked them up one by one, put some clear nail polish on them and placed them on my ring finger and my thumb.

And here's a close up of my thumb! Studs are great to boost and add something special to your manicure.

You can find these studs here, but make sure to check out their other nail art products as well! And don't forget to like their Facebook page too!

12 Days of Christmas: Holiday Song

Today's the second day of the 12DoC Nail Art Challenge. The theme is a Holiday Song. From the first minute I saw this theme I thought RUDOLPH! So these are my Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - nails. They're quite abstract, but they're so stinkin' cute!

I used Only You - Geisha, Essence - Café Olé as a base colour, NYC - City Blackout, Only You - White French, Kiko - 324 for the antlers and H&M - Cherry and Essence - Glamourous Life for his nose!
I also used dotting tools and nail art brushes from Born Pretty Store. To seal in the design, I painted on a layer of Essence - Top Sealer.

What's your favourite Christmas song?

Minty Leopard

Here's one of my first attempts on leopard nails and my first attempt on framing. OK, the framing wasn't so hard to do, because I just had to put on the glitters one by one.

I really love how this turned out. My original plan was to put roses on my pinky and my thumb, but the pink just didn't match the mint and the nude. But : *prouuuud*

The mint is Hema 82, the nude is from Essence Nude Glam - 05 Toffee to go. These two colours go so well together! For the leopard print I used Hema 82 and also Catrice - Jade is not my name. The black is NYC - 119 City Blackout and as a topcoat I used Essence Studio Nails - top sealer.
The glitters are from Born Pretty Store. I recently did a review on them, you can find this here.

I looooooove nude! Who's with me, girls?

Eyeballzzzzz

A few days ago I saw these awesome Eyeball nails by Nailed by Ally and I instantly fell in love with them. Soooo, I decided to give it a try!

And here are my Eyeball nails!

Here's what I used:
- Essence - Toffee to go
- Acrylic paint
- Essence - Top sealer

How often do you use acrylic paint? (I secretly love it, because you don't have to redo your nails from scratch when you're not pleased with the result :-) )
