Vibrant Gradient + Born Pretty Store Triangle Studs | Review & Nail Art

Hi everyone! I know, I know, it is winter and it is cold and grey. However, I will be showing you a vibrant gradient today. To brighten up those gloomy days and because I like my colours to stand out ;-). I used some beautiful triangle studs I got from Born Pretty Store, so make sure to keep reading!

For this design, I was inspired by Flickanail on Instagram. She creates the cutest designs and I am in love with each and every one of them!

The cute gold triangle studs were sent to me by Born Pretty Store, an online store specialized in nail art! The studs are also available in silver, which look great too! You can easily apply the studs onto your nail polish using a top coat or nail glue. They are also great to pimp a regular gel polish manicure.
The studs measure 3 to 5 mm and you get 20 pieces for $3.28. A nice deal!

Products used for this manicure:
  • China Glaze - Sun Upon My Skin
  • China Glaze - One Track Mind
  • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
  • Born Pretty Store - Triangle studs
In March I will be painting nails at Clouds of Fashion, a boutique (soon ;-)) located in the Nationalestraat in Antwerp. And this nail art design can be painted on YOUR nails! I will post more info about that very soon. :-)

Born Pretty Store was so kind to give me a coupon code for my readers. With the code THL91 you can get 10% off of your order!

How do you like this vibrant manicure? I personally love this kind of designs. Simple but effective!

Hey guys! The prompt of today was "pick a line from the 12 days of Christmas song". And I chose "5 golden rings". I know, I know, you do not quite see 5 golden rings. But I painted a gem and used a gold top coat, sooooo. Oh well, I really like them! And if you do to, then please keep reading!

For this manicure I was inspired by the gem nail art Chalkboard Nails has done a while ago. I used her tutorial to get the steps right.

Polishes used for this manicure:
Catrice - Goldfinger
Catrice - Mission lilac
Catrice - Black to the Routes (for mixing and the lines)
Sinful Colors - Snow me white (for mixing)

The Dexter Collection: The End Begins

Hellooooooow! Only two more polishes to go, meh... So, I can definitely say that The End Begins, right? RIGHT. Without further ado, let's move on to the swatches!

The End Begins has a dark green jelly base with copper shimmer, caramel hex glitter and small gold iridescent glitter.

The End Begins applies very smooth and I feel the consistency is just a tad thinner than the 'normal'/other polishes. Shown above is 3 normal coats, but maybe you could try 4 thin coats. I don't know. I still love it to death HA!

I adore the macro of the polishhhhh. I'm so proud of myself haha, seriously I could stare at the picture fo evah!

Cadillacquer is available through Etsy and Llarowe and they are also on Facebook!

12 Days of Christmas: Gifts

Quick post!
Yep, I am late, AGAIN. But I am catching up, or at least I'm trying. I don't have a lot of time to design something complicated, so this cute bow has to do the for the theme of today (actually of Friday), which is Gifts!

I used Ooh La Lacquer - Beware of the Plastics as a base colour. For the bow I used Kiko - 236, NYC - City Blackout and nail art brushes from Born Pretty Store.

Oh yeah, you can buy Ooh La Lacquer on Etsy!

Eyeballzzzzz

A few days ago I saw these awesome Eyeball nails by Nailed by Ally and I instantly fell in love with them. Soooo, I decided to give it a try!

And here are my Eyeball nails!

Here's what I used:
- Essence - Toffee to go
- Acrylic paint
- Essence - Top sealer

How often do you use acrylic paint? (I secretly love it, because you don't have to redo your nails from scratch when you're not pleased with the result :-) )
