The Dexter Collection: He Saw, She Saw

Okay, let's start off these 9 days with He Saw, She Saw! The reason why I will be posting all the polishes one by one is because I really really like to see a lot of pictures of one swatch. That way I can see all the different details of the polish instead of just one photo. And YES, these posts will be picture-heavy. Sorry, not sorry.

He Saw, She Saw is a nude base with various sizes of grey hexes and small iridescent hexes and it is infused with a gorgeous iredescent light green/blue shimmer.

This is 3 coats of He Saw, She Saw on its own. No dragging, dabbing or fishing needed with this polish! It has a nice consistency and it applies very well. I put on top coat to smooth everything out a bit.

In the macros above you can clearly see the different types of glitter in this polish. Various sized grey hexes, irridescent hexes, a beautiful shimmer. He Saw, She Saw is a very wearable lacquer and it is not too in your face, but it has something different. And that something is what makes this polish so pretty.

This beauty is available on Etsy and Llarowe. You can keep up with Cadillacquer on Facebook!

Tomorrow I will be posting Have A Killer Day, so stay tuned for that one!

WingDustCollections: Crazy On You & Mind Blue-ing

Another swatch post! This time I'll be showing you two WingDustCollections polishes: Mind Blue-ing and Crazy On You. Stephanie creates the most unique polishes I have ever seen and the combinations she comes up with are so interesting and intricate. So, let's take a look at the first swatch!

Crazy On You is a dark blue, almost black jelly base with periwinkle and fuschia hexagon and square glitters in all different sizes. It also has a subtle lavender to blue shifting shimmer, which makes this polish stand out of the crowd! Shown here, is three coats on its own with topcoat.

I started off with a thin layer, the second and third were just two normal coats. The polish has a good consistency and it is easy to work with.

I love jellies packed with glitter and shimmer, because I think it gives a 3D-like effect. The picture below captures the 3D effect pretty good. You can see how the bigger hexagonal glitters lay beneath the smaller ones.

Now, let's move on to Mind Blue-ing!

Mind Blue-ing is a gorgeous baby blue base with fuchsia, light pink and light green hexagonal glitters and smaller blue and iridescent glitter. I couldn't capture it in the pictures, but it also has a very light purple shimmer. I used three normal coats, which makes it completely opaque, and a topcoat.

Again, this one was easy to work with, good consistency, nice application and great combination!

I had nothing like this in my nail polish stash, so I was really excited to try it. It is also something different than I would normally wear, but I absolutely love it. The baby blue is perfect to cheer you up during these gloomy days. Oh, and in the close-up shown below, you can actually see the shimmer a bit! Yay!

Stephanie sells her polishes in her WingDustCollections Etsy store, the polishes retail for $8.50 a bottle. Make sure to check out the WingDustCollections Facebookpage and blog!

Forever Polished - Who Is That Lady?

Hi everyone! Today, I want to introduce you to Forever Polished. This indie polish brand was formerly known as Ashley's Polish. I have one swatch for you today, yes just one! But I'll be posting four more swatches over the next four weeks, so you will really get to know Ashley and Forever Polished.
(and PSST.. check out the end of this post for a coupon code!)

Today I will show you Who Is That Lady*?

First up is a close-up of Who Is That Lady. As you can see, this polish has a LOT of small round pink glitter, diamond shaped gold glitter and black bar glitter.

I layered two normal coats over China Glaze Dress Me Up, but I think you can reach full opacity with three layers! Application can be a little bit hard when you are not used to thicker glitter polishes, but it is workable. 15 ml, no weird scent, good drytime. That is a YES for me!

Forever Polished lacquers can be found in their shop and they sell for $8 per bottle. And you can also keep up with the brand on Facebook.

Ashley was so kind to create a coupon code: LoveLifeLacquer which gives you a whopping 20% off!

Swatch: Ooh La Lacquer - Grosky Lil' Beotch

Today I have a swatch for you. It is this beautiful Grosky Lil' Beotch from Ooh La Lacquer!

First of all: I LOVE the name, seriously. It is part of her Mean Girls Collection. I also still have Regulation Hottie and Pink Wednesday to show you!

Grosky Lil' Beotch consists of blue holographic multisized hexagon glitter and blue diamond glitter. It applies very smootly and dries pretty quick. My ring finger is 2 normal coats layered over NYC - City Blackout. On my other fingers I created a simple glitter gradient, I thought it would be fun to show you what you could do with this holographic glittery goodness.

Here is a picture with flash:

Here you can clearly see the different sizes of the holographic glitter. Ah, I just love it.

You can buy your own Grosky Lil' Beotch for $8 (15 ml) on Etsy, and make sure to check out Ooh La Lacquer on Facebook, on Twitter and on Tumblr!
