Only You Electric Mint | Random Swatch Saturday
Aloha guyyyyys! For today's Random Swatch Saturday I will be showing you Electric Mint by Only You. Yes, mint. I don't see mint either so don't worry. I am ashamed to tell you this, but I have never worn this polish before. It has been laying around for 2 years, I think, and never has it ever crossed my mind to wear it. And I regret is sooooooo much!

Forever Polished - Blood Moon
HI! I am -finally- back with a Forever Polished swatch. Forever Polished is an awesome indie polish brand ran by the lovely Ashley. I still have one Forever Polished lacquer laying around and I'll be showing you that one verrrrry soon. OK, onto some macros and pictures!
As you can see, Blood Moon has various sizes of square red glitter and burgundy hexes It also has red hearts and silver holo moons! This mix sits in a clear base, so it makes a great topper.
I layered Blood Moon over White French by Only You. I really don't know how many coats this exactly is, since I dabbed it on my nail. That is the only issue with this polish, it needs a lot of dabbing and fishing, especially for the bigger glitter like the hearts and moons.
Besides the dabbing and fishing, it is a beautiful polish. I'm a big fan of Forever Polished because the lacquers are always chock-full with glitter and practically glide on the nail. That is why I probably had some high expectations for this one! But, like I said, it is a beautiful polish and it adds something special to your manicure.
You can buy Forever Polished here. Keep up with them on Facebook!
Forever Polished lacquer was sent to me for my honest review.

Essie Lilacism + Stripe-y pattern
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! So, this is how nail art-y I can get at the moment. Things are still a bit busy, but that will change prettypretty quick. Hopefully that means: more time for nail art!
When I was wearing this manicure, a girl at the bus station asked me if I did it myself, because she really liked it. I was like: ohhhh yesyesyes *gigglegiggle*, thank you! And that, ladies and gentlemen, made my entire week!
Products used:
Essie - Lilacism
Only You - White French
Nail art brush from Born Pretty Store
Essence - Top Sealer
I have some pretty exciting things coming up, so stay tuned for that. For those of you who want to have a sneaky peaky, check out Cadillacquer's Facebookpage! (and like it!)

Forever Polished - Sea Monster
I'm back with a Forever Polished swatch! This time it is Sea Monster, it is one of my favourites so make sure to check out all the pictures!
Sea Monster is packed with small blue and green glitters and silver hex holographic glitters. It goes on very smootly and the shine is incredible. I am a sucker for blue-ish green-ish teal-ish glitter polishes, so it is no wonder that this polish is one of my favourite glitter lacquers!
I layered two coats of Sea Monster over white and sealed it in with Essence Top Sealer. The accent nail is Only You - White French and rhinestones from Born Pretty Store. You can find the white - light blue rhinestone here, the blue rhinestone here and the small silver ones here. Don't forget to use my coupon code AYJ61 to get 10% off!
You can find Forever Polished here and Facebook, polishes are $8 for 15ml. Make sure to use this special discount code LoveLifeLacquer to get 20% off!

Neon + Stripes = Inspired by Hey, Nice Nails!
Christmas is over, so let's get back to no-theme-nail art! For this manicure I was inspired by a Hey, Nice Nails! design. You can find the design here, it is in the upper right corner.
I really love how it turned out, the neon, the black and white. I think it matches pretty well!
For this manicure I used Only You - White French and BK #11 Glow in the Dark polish from Born Pretty Store. For the stripes I used NYC - City Blackout and a nail art brush. To seal it all in, I used Essence - Top Sealer (ofcours).
If you want to buy something at Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use my code AYJ61 and get 10% off!
What is your favourite design from Hey, Nice Nails! ?

12 Days of Christmas: Holiday Song
Today's the second day of the 12DoC Nail Art Challenge. The theme is a Holiday Song. From the first minute I saw this theme I thought RUDOLPH! So these are my Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - nails. They're quite abstract, but they're so stinkin' cute!
I used Only You - Geisha, Essence - Café Olé as a base colour, NYC - City Blackout, Only You - White French, Kiko - 324 for the antlers and H&M - Cherry and Essence - Glamourous Life for his nose!
I also used dotting tools and nail art brushes from Born Pretty Store. To seal in the design, I painted on a layer of Essence - Top Sealer.
What's your favourite Christmas song?

Slimy Nails - Glow In The Dark
Slimy nails, yesss. I never did drips before, so I thought it was about time to do so! I really love how they turned out eventually, because when I started, it didn't look pretty. AT ALL.
I used:
- Essence - Base Coat
- Only You - White French
- Flormar - Super Neon Colors NO14
So yeah, drips. Oh, wait! THEY GLOW IN THE DARK!
I used *ChNail #2, which you can find at Born Pretty Store. It's a very light green, and I picked this colour because it had the strongest glow in the dark effect.
The polish has a nice consistency, but it's different from a regular nailpolish. It's a bit of a granular substancy. But not hard to apply at all and it glides on very smoothly.
I really love the glow in the dark effect, it's something fun and different! I didn't add a layer off topcoat, because the polish gave a subtle, light blue-ish shine, which I like!
You can get this glow in the dark polish (ChNail#2) for $4.99 at Born Pretty Store. Each bottle holds 15 ml. They have a total of 12 different colours, so you'll definitely find one you like! Don't forget to use my code AYJ61 and get 10% discount on your entire order!
Have you picked up a Glow in the Dark polish? What do you think about it?

Simply Aquadelic
Here's a simple design I did the other day. It's really easy to do and I love how it turned out!
I think it gives the illusion of longer and pointier nails. But then again, it also can be my imagination... :-D
I used China Glaze - Aquadelic as a basecolour, Only You - White French for the stripes and a nail art brush which I got from Born Pretty Store.
What do you think of simple designs?

Only You Swatches
About three weeks ago I submitted one of my nail designs in a nail art contest. And guess what! I won three polishes!
And here they are! As you see, they're Only You polishes. Only You is a new brand of nailpolish, sold at Ici Paris XL.
You can compare these polishes to Catrice's. It's more or less the same quality and they got exactly the same brush!
I won (from left to right) Geisha, Stormy Monday and Fabulous. And I swatched them for you:
First up is Geisha.
I used 3 layers of this milky, sheer pink polish. There's no full coverage possible, I guess. But you can use it as a base colour when you are doing a classic French.
Next is Stormy Monday.
Stormy Monday is a grey polish, but it has tiny pink and purple glitters in it. So at first I was like: "Hmmhmm", but after the second layer I was like "Yay-YAY-YAAAY!"
P.S.: it's similar to chanel paradoxal! :-) only a tad greyer.
And last but definitly not least: here's Fabulous!
This is the colour I got after a third layer of Fabulous. When I got the first layer on my nails, the colour was red! Just simple red. Something I didn't expect when I saw the bottle.
I really think this polish is fabulous, it's a classy colour and it has a shiny finish.
One thing, it's really hard to remove it, my fingertips were bright red and I didn't get it off, ahhhh.
But still, I love it, yay!
Do you have any Only You polishes?
