Hello guys! Summer is still here (kind of) and the Fall Collection are already showing up. Today I will be showing you a floral nail art I created using the new essie Fall 2016 Collection. With names likes Playing Koi, Go Go Geisha and Kimono-over, this collection breathes Japan. I will be posting swatches of all the colours very soon, but for now: only nail art ;-). <3

essie Summer 2016 - 4th of July inspired | Nail Art

Hi guys! Oh my goddd, regular nail polish! Yup, regular nail polish, yay! Sometimes you gotta switch things up, right? So recently, I was sent the new essie Summer 2016 Collection. This collection is inspired by Rebecca Minkoff's travels to Antigua. There is an off-white crème, a turquoise green with a gorgeous shimmer and some darker shades. Something for everyone, really! When I saw the colours, I immediately had some favourites and combinations in my head. Want to see what I came up with? Then keep reading! <3

Mosaic Gel Nails using Foil | Nail Art

Foil Mosaic gel nail art

Hey guys! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday filled with Netflix and food. To wrap up this week and kick off the new one I will be showing you quite a cool nail art today. I think everybody knows what shattered glass nails are, right? So, because everybody is doing the shattered glass nails I was like meh. But I had some foil laying around because I ordered it a few months ago from Aliexpress and I reaallly wanted to use it. I thought; why not mosaic nails? Like seriously, why the hell not? It looks ridiculously intricate and fabulous and it is not that hard to do. Win win! Now, let's move on to the pictures and see for yourself how awesome these bad boys are!

Nailbox January Edition | Review & Nail Art

Nailbox

Hi guys! I guess I might as well call it nail polish week, because YES again nail polish today! Today I will be reviewing my first ever Nailbox. The people behind Nailbox were kind enough to sent me their January edition for review. I was so excited, because I really did not know what to expect.

When the box arrived, I immediately dived in and discovered four polishes, wraps and (!!!) a fortune cookie. So much first-timers in this box, haha. My first large Morgan Taylor polish, my first Nails Inc, first Color Club and Nail Essentials and my first ever fortune cookie! The fortune cookie probably was the highlight of my day, haha.

I must say, not all Nailboxes are the same. Yes, there is a new box every month, but the colours of each box in the same month might differ. I received Morgan Taylor If The Slipper Fits from last year's Cinderella collection but you could also receive Party At The Palace. Then for the Nails Inc one I got Old Bond Street but you might receive Hyde Park Place. For the Colour Club polish I was sent Polar Vortex but I have seen some other pretty ones too. I do not know what the name of the Nail Essentials nail polish is, but I do know that it also differs!

Alright, I think I rambled enough. Let's move on to some pictures, huh? <3

Bundle Monster Long Triangle Vinyls | Review

Bundle Monster nail vinyls nail art

Hey guys! What, more regular nail polish? Yes! A while ago, Bundle Monster sent me some triangle nail vinyls and I have to admit, I need to practice a bit with using them in combination with gel polish. The thing with nail vinyls and gel polish is, you really have to remove the vinyls before curing them. Otherwise the vinyl will just stick to the gel polish and it will stay there. Forever. Well not forever, but you get the picture. And because you have to remove them, the gel polish will start flooding a little bit. That super crisp line? GONE, forever gone. So, I decide to go for nail polish. So awkward, though. If you are used to gel polish, I tell you, it is hard to wait for the nail polish to dry. But it worked out, yay! So make sure to hit the jump to get a close up and some details ;-). <3

Snake Skin Ssssstamping with Bundle Monster | Nail Art & Review

Bundle Monster snake skin stamping

Hey you! Today's post will be a short, but sweet one. A while ago, Bundle Monster sent me a ton of stuff to review. I already reviewed their new Duotone Chromatic Snake Charmer gel nail lacquers , you can find my swatches over here and here. But in this post I will be discussing a stamping plate I received, BM-XL08. It was my first time trying out the Bundle Monster stamping plates and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. I am not a pro at stamping, but when a plate works, it works, simple as that. Well, at least for me it is that simple. :-D

Freestyle Mermaid Glitter Nails | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Hi guys! It is Christmas Eve! Yaaaaay! Which means food, more food and even more food. But it is also the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge (check out the other designs I did). For those who are wondering: yes, I skipped the previous prompt, Nightmare before Christmas, because I did not feel like I could contribute something creative and I ran out of time. Sorry! But today I am here to make it up to you with the freestyle prompt. I created these super simple mermaid nails and I am obsessed. I hope you are too because MERMAIDS, duh.

Quickly check out the other pictures and then go back to food, food and more food. Happy holidays, everyone!! I love you lots! <3

Christmas Cookies | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Christmas cookie nail art

Hola guys! Today's prompt in the 12 Days of Christmas nail art challenge is Christmas cookies. But I figured, who needs cookies when you can have glitter? HA. Just kidding, cookies are great, too. My first idea for this prompt was 3D cookies, but that didn't work out great because I don't have 3d gels or acrylic powder. So yeah, I had to find something else to do. Next best thing was glitter!

Bow for Bows | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Christmas Glitter Bow Nail art

Hey guys! Today's prompt is presents/bows and I obviously went completely for the bows part haha. I have been meaning to do this kind of bow for so long now and this was the perfect occassion. I won't be going into detail about how you can create you own bow, but Abetweene on Youtube certainly will. I used her tutorial too ;-). And while you're there, check out her other tutorials, too. She is super creative and I love her videos. <3

Fluffy Wrapping Paper | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Hi guys! Today's prompt is 'Inspired by wrapping paper'. Well, I have to admit, I really didn't know what to do. I saw lots of gorgeous wrapping papers, but they weren't festive enough. And the festive ones were just too blah. So I took some ideas from a few different wrapping papers and I incorporated a few techniques I learned a while ago. And this is the result. Not too Christmassy, not too meh, and quite wearble. <3

Shine bright, Ornaments | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Christmas ornaments nail art

Hey guys! Number four already, phew. So, today's prompt was ornaments and I decided to draw Christmas lights on my nails, hah. I was inspired by @usti_na on Instagram (make sure to check her out, because she is a genius). She has a short tutorial on her Instagram showing how to achieve this look and I more or less used the same technique so I won't go into detail in this post. Alright, I have some more pictures after the jump, so come on and take a look! <3

Watercolour Christmas Trees | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Christmas Tree Nail Art

Hey guys! Are you ready for the second nail art in the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge? Well, I hope you are because here I am. Today's prompt is Christmas Trees. I really didn't feel like painting a classic Christmas tree on my nails so I began to think how I could make this prompt interesting for all of you. I personally love learning new techniques that are easy and quick to do and pretty much foolproof. So, may I present to you: my abstract Christmas trees inspired by watercolour tattoos. ;-) <3

Icy Snow Day | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Snowflake nail art

Hi guuuuuuys! This year, I will be participating again in the Challenge Your Nail Art 12 Days of Christmas challenge. YAS. I have been waiting a whole year to do this. At this point, I already created six looks, and I will to my bestest best to finish the complete challenge.

I am so excited, you don't even know. Last year, I created my looks using regular nail polish, like most people do. But this year I decided to do the challenge in GEL POLISH! Yes, gel polish! So for my gel polish ladies out there, my at-home-users or maybe my nail techs, I got you covered. Feel free to recreate my designs (with credit of course wink wink) and make sure to tag me so I can see them using the tag #LoveLifeLacquer12DoC.

Ok, now for today's challenge. Our first prompt is Snow Day. Aka, almost everything Christmassy is possible. I went for a shimmery icy snow day because I just like my glitter and shimmer :-D. Make sure to hit the jump for some close-ups because they are b-e-a-utiful! Love and kisses! <333

Pink Gellac Glamourize Collection Plaid | Nail Art

Hi guys! I am back with another Pink Gellac Glamourize tutorial. This time we will be doing this plaid look perfect for Christmas. I love plaid nails. It looks so festive, but not too classic plus it's not that hard to do either. You do need a few nail art brushes, mainly a thin liner brush and that's it. So, let's move on to the tutorial, shall we?

Pink Gellac Glamourize Collection Peek-a-Boo | Nail Art + How-To

Hi guys! Tutorial time! Today I will be showing you the first nail art I created using the new Pink Gellac Glamourize collection. I posted the swatches of this collection yesterday. This nail art is an easy one and it doesn't require any extra tools or brushes, although you could use them of course. I was inspired by those sexy lace tights you might wear on Christmas or New Year's Eve ;-). If you want to know how I created this cheeky peek-a-boo nail art, then hit the jump! <3
