Dry brush technique: Orange + blue + studs

Hey you!

You might or might not have seen this dry brush manicure in your Facebook or Instagram feed a while ago (if you are not following me already, you tooooootally should! Facebook - Instagram). I created this nail art using the dry brush technique, which is very simple. For this one I was inspired by a technique by Pshiiit.

Products used

Base coat: Essie Grow Stronger
Sinful Colors Snow me white
Catrice Birdy reloaded!
Catrice For bright Guys (LE NEONaturals)
Catrice Mrs. Brightsight (LE NEONaturals)
Faby Don't disturb my Puppy (FabulousFaby collection)
Top coat: Essie Good to go

The neon orange 2mm studs are from KKcenterHK, they sell for $2 and you will receive about 100 studs. I applied them by adding a little dot of clear nail polish on the place I wanted them to be. Then I used a dotting tool to pick up the studs and put them on my nail. I sealed them in with a layer of top coat.

Glitter Dip with KKCenterHK Glitter

YUUUP I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A WHILE YES YES YES AND I'M SOOOOORRYYYYY. But I'm back now, yeah baby!

OK, so today I will be showing you an easy manicure you can create with this 0.2 mm black glitter I was kindly sent by KKCenterHK.

You can achieve this glitter dip look with 3 simple steps:
1. Paint on a nice coat of your favourite black polish, mine is City Blackout by NYC.
2. Before the polish dries, quickly dip your nail in the container with the 0.2mm black glitter from KKCenterHK.
3. Let it dry for a couple of minutes and swipe off the excess with a fluffy brush.

I did one nail at a time, otherwise the polish on the first nail would be dry and wouldn't hold the glitter very well! Basically, you do the same thing as with velvet nails, so NO topcoat! ^^

Et voilà, a nice close-up!

Please note that this glitter is NOT holographic, the pictures on the website might be a little bit deceiving. Nonetheless it's a gorgeous glitter to work with.

KKCenterHK sells this 0.2mm black glitter for $8.41 and you get 10 grams in a nice pot. Use the coupon code LoveLifeLacquer to get 10% off!

Très Chic Rectangular Studs

Hi everyone! Today I'll be showing you some really gorgeous studs from KKCenterHK and my first real attempt ever on outlined nails.

And when I say first real attempt, I litterally mean first real attempt. I already have some posts with glitter outlined nails, but not with painted outlined nails so.. TADAA! I used NYC City Black Out and Essence Café Olé.

For the accent nail I used these 4mmx2mm silver studs I kindly received from KKCenterHK. I picked them up one by one, put some clear nail polish on them and placed them on my ring finger and my thumb.

And here's a close up of my thumb! Studs are great to boost and add something special to your manicure.

You can find these studs here, but make sure to check out their other nail art products as well! And don't forget to like their Facebook page too!
