Freestyle Mermaid Glitter Nails | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge

Hi guys! It is Christmas Eve! Yaaaaay! Which means food, more food and even more food. But it is also the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge (check out the other designs I did). For those who are wondering: yes, I skipped the previous prompt, Nightmare before Christmas, because I did not feel like I could contribute something creative and I ran out of time. Sorry! But today I am here to make it up to you with the freestyle prompt. I created these super simple mermaid nails and I am obsessed. I hope you are too because MERMAIDS, duh.

My base is 2 coats of Gelish Arctic White, aka the best white gel polish you will ever use. Or at least it is in my opinion. Then I put some iridescent glitter in the tacky layer, burnished it, brushed on 2 coats of top coat and BAM done. The iridescent glitter is at least 12 years old, it came with a flower fairy Barbie :-D. And that is it. Add some stones or studs if you like and you are good to go.
