Hi guuuuuuys! This year, I will be participating again in the Challenge Your Nail Art 12 Days of Christmas challenge. YAS. I have been waiting a whole year to do this. At this point, I already created six looks, and I will to my bestest best to finish the complete challenge.
I am so excited, you don't even know. Last year, I created my looks using regular nail polish, like most people do. But this year I decided to do the challenge in GEL POLISH! Yes, gel polish! So for my gel polish ladies out there, my at-home-users or maybe my nail techs, I got you covered. Feel free to recreate my designs (with credit of course wink wink) and make sure to tag me so I can see them using the tag #LoveLifeLacquer12DoC.
Ok, now for today's challenge. Our first prompt is Snow Day. Aka, almost everything Christmassy is possible. I went for a shimmery icy snow day because I just like my glitter and shimmer :-D. Make sure to hit the jump for some close-ups because they are b-e-a-utiful! Love and kisses! <333
For this nail art I started out with 2 coats of a white gel polish. Then I mixed a Hema nail polish topper in 94 and Urban Lacquer NaCl with Gelibility to turn it into a gel polish and applied it to the nails. For the snowflakes I mixed up Gelish Arctic White and Pink Gellac Baby Lila with Essence pigment in Trixie's Pixie Dust to create the icy lavender colour. Sealed it al in with 2 nice layers of top coat and ta-da. Snow day-proof, right? ;-)
Make sure to check out the creations of all the other participants and I will see you again on Friday! <3
This shimmery look is gorgeous! I love that you've challenged yourself to create nail art with gel!
