Hola guys! Today's prompt in the 12 Days of Christmas nail art challenge is Christmas cookies. But I figured, who needs cookies when you can have glitter? HA. Just kidding, cookies are great, too. My first idea for this prompt was 3D cookies, but that didn't work out great because I don't have 3d gels or acrylic powder. So yeah, I had to find something else to do. Next best thing was glitter!

Bow for Bows | 12 Days of Christmas Challenge
Hey guys! Today's prompt is presents/bows and I obviously went completely for the bows part haha. I have been meaning to do this kind of bow for so long now and this was the perfect occassion. I won't be going into detail about how you can create you own bow, but Abetweene on Youtube certainly will. I used her tutorial too ;-). And while you're there, check out her other tutorials, too. She is super creative and I love her videos. <3

Magpie Beauty Party Collection | Swatch & Review
Hi guys! Today I will be showing you the Party Collection by Magpie Beauty. Magpie Beauty is a UK-based shop that sells high-quality glitter, dusts and pigments. I have been drooling over the holographic glitter since July and a few weeks ago, when the Party Collection was released, I decided to take the plunge and just buy them all. Jup, BUY ALL THE HOLO. And so far, no regrets, at all. They are just beautiful, ridiculously beautiful. Everytime I look at my bottles, I fall in love all over again. And again.
For my swatches I used gel polishes, it's super easy to apply the glitter that way. First you do your 2 coats of colour and cure, then you push the glitter in the tacky layer, put on 2 coats of top coat and cure. Bam, done, glitter! I used a cheap Essence Cosmetics smoky eyes brush to apply the glitter. It is a dense brush so perfect so push the glitter in the tacky layer and buff it in. Oh yeah, make sure to buff it in for a flawless effect.
I should stop rambling now and just let you see the swatches. So, make sure to hit the jump! ;-) <3
