Let it Glitter - Oh Wow!

Let it Glitter is a dutch indie polish brand and is fairly new to the indie market. The woman behind this brand, Suzanne, is such a sweetheart. She first started posting photos of her manicures on her blog, but after a while she wanted to take things to the next level and create her own glittery polishes! And I'm glad she did!

Pshht! She released her Winter Wonderland collection about a week ago, so make sure to check out her information at the end of this blogpost.

Oh Wow! is a super cute glitter topper with a mix of big hot pink hexes and slightly smaller turquoise and white hexes. I've always loved the combination (hot)pink + tuquoise, so this polish is perfect for me.

Oh Wow! applied quite smoothly but I had to dab the glitters a bit on the nail, no major issues though! I layered one (dabbing) coat over Cadillacquer Yeah Science! and I think it makes a wonderful combination. I also added one layer of Essie Good to Go.

By the way, I'm so happy this polish comes in a square-ish bottle. I luv those bottles! + the packaging is too cute, Suzanne attached a little card to the polish!

Gosh Frosted Sand - Frosted Purple

Hello hello hellooooooo. Today I will be showing you one polish of the new Gosh Autumn/Winter collection, Frosted Purple. And it is, indeed, a liquid sand. My first everrrrrrr! 

Even though the name of this lacquer is Frosted Purple, to me it looks more like a grey with just a hint of purple. Nonetheless, I think it is a beautiful shade. Shown in the pictures is two coats of Frosted Purple on it's own, without a topcoat so you can see the effect. Duh.
It applied really nicely and I felt that it dried pretty quickly too.

In the picture above you can see the polish also has some bigger hex glitter in it, which makes it even more glittery. YAY!

The Dexter Collection: Keep Breathing

Hi! Today I will be showing you Keep Breathing created by Cadillacquer. It's part of The Dexter Collection, as most of you might know!

Keep Breathing has a turquoise base packed with green and white flakies and lilac and purple hex glitter. If you're looking for the perfect Summer shade, well this one might be it!

As all other Cadillacquer polishes, this one's formula was yet again, a dream. It does feel a tad thinner than the other lacquers, but it it heaven to work with. Shown in the pictures is 3 coats.

I wore this polish for one week straight! AND: on day 7 I had some minor (teenytiny) chipping and a little tipwear on all my nails. Sounds great? IT ISSSS.

Essie Lilacism + Stripe-y pattern

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! So, this is how nail art-y I can get at the moment. Things are still a bit busy, but that will change prettypretty quick. Hopefully that means: more time for nail art!

When I was wearing this manicure, a girl at the bus station asked me if I did it myself, because she really liked it. I was like: ohhhh yesyesyes *gigglegiggle*, thank you! And that, ladies and gentlemen, made my entire week!

Forever Polished - Pastel Me Right

I'm back with another Forever Polished lacquer! YAY, CONFETTI, YAY! This time I will be showing you Pastel Me Right. I won't let you wait any longer, so without further ado: LET'S MOVE ON! (to the swatches ofcours)

Here is what Ashley had to say about Pastel Me Right: "Pastel Me Right is a lilac shimmer base
with added pastel shapes. From hearts, stars, shreds, and fine glitter."

It is kind of a frosty pastel shade with a beautiful shimmer in in!

I painted on 3 coats of Pastel Me Right to get a full coverage. I smoothed it out with my Essence - Top Sealer. It applied super easy and drying time is OK as usual. I did fish a bit for the stars, and I was not able to catch a little heart, mememe.

I usually do not like frosty polishes, but this one is the exception I think!

Put A Ring On it!

 

Today I will show you these cool studs/rings from Born Pretty Store! They are super fun and easy to use. I have been wanting something like this for aaaages, so I was pretty happy when they arrived!

I used Essence Lilac Is My Style, from the Snow Jam LE, as my base colour. Then I put some clear polish on my nails, picked up the rings with a dotting tool and put them in place. I also added a little round stud above the ring and that came out really pretty, I think! I sealed it all in with Essence Top Sealer.
