The Dexter Collection: Keep Breathing

Hi! Today I will be showing you Keep Breathing created by Cadillacquer. It's part of The Dexter Collection, as most of you might know!

Keep Breathing has a turquoise base packed with green and white flakies and lilac and purple hex glitter. If you're looking for the perfect Summer shade, well this one might be it!

As all other Cadillacquer polishes, this one's formula was yet again, a dream. It does feel a tad thinner than the other lacquers, but it it heaven to work with. Shown in the pictures is 3 coats.

I wore this polish for one week straight! AND: on day 7 I had some minor (teenytiny) chipping and a little tipwear on all my nails. Sounds great? IT ISSSS.

Urban Lacquer - Hurry Me Up

Aaaand here is my last Urban Lacquer: Hurry Me Up. This is how Brenda describes it: "Hurry Me Up is a unique blend of micro iridescent pink flakies, neon yellow hex glitter, and black shredded glitter in a clear base. Works best as a glitter topper, although can be worn alone, when applying 3-4 coats. The micro pink flakies will shift from pink to purple, and is a perfect "going out" polish!"

My camera had some difficulties picking up the shifting, actually it had problems capturing the entire polish haha. I tried and I tried and this is the best I could to. Shown here is 2 coats over Essence Lilac Is My Style.

It is actually a very unique polish because of the glitter combination, I think. I would never ever ever mix purple with neon yellow, but you see: it turns out great, right? RIGHT!

Because of the shreds, it looks a bit lumpy, especially in a close-up... BUT you can see all the ingredients of this polish: the pink-purple shifting, the irredescent flakies, the neon yellow hexes and ofcours the black shreds (they're quite obvious).

Cadillacquer Where The Wild Things Are

I'm back with another Cadillacquer beauty! Today I will be showing you some swatches of Where The Wild Things Are. So without further ado, let's move on to some pretty pictures!

This is what Madeleine had to say about this polish: "Where The Wild Things Are has a smoky green/grey base with a strong yellow sparkle shimmer, iridescent glitter, different colored flakies and small silver glitter."
The yellow-gold sparkle let this polish stand out of the crowd, it looks so classy and gorgeous.

Shown above are three coats on its own and two layers of top coat. Where The Wild Things Are applies very easy and smoothly. The glitter spreads evenly and the shimmer is to die for!

I love this picture! The golden shimmer looks so pretty. You can also see the different types of glitters and some shreds! Oh btw, don't forget to look at that gorgeous grey-ish, blue-ish, green-ish base! It is such a fabulous colour!

Ooh La Lacquer - Regulation Hottie

Hi guys! Today I have another indie polish swatch for you. This time it is Regulation Hottie by Ooh La Lacquer.

Regulation Hottie is a red jelly base packed with multicoloured shreds. The first thing I noticed about this polish, is that it has a LOT of shreds in it, but the base is a bit on the thin side. And because it is on the thin side, it can't hold the shreds as well as it should. But no worries, with some fishing and dabbing you will get this pretty polish on your nails!

I layered two coats of Regulation Hottie over Kiko 236. I think you can build it up on itself, but the jelly is very sheer, so you'll probably need 5+ thin coats. It applied well, but you surely need some dabbing, otherwise you will drag the shreds off your nail.

Regulation Hottie is something different. I can honestly say I have nothing like this. Not even close.
