Here is a close-up of my middle finger. For these nails I was inspired by Vanity Projects. I looove the triangle of rhinestones and studs, hmmm.

This is a close-up of my ring finger. I used NYC City Blackout, the rhinestones and studs are all from Born Pretty Store.

Still in love with these nails, really!

Btw, don't forget to enter my giveaway if you want to win some pretty Let it Glitter! polishes!

Let it Glitter - Oh Wow!

Let it Glitter is a dutch indie polish brand and is fairly new to the indie market. The woman behind this brand, Suzanne, is such a sweetheart. She first started posting photos of her manicures on her blog, but after a while she wanted to take things to the next level and create her own glittery polishes! And I'm glad she did!

Pshht! She released her Winter Wonderland collection about a week ago, so make sure to check out her information at the end of this blogpost.

Oh Wow! is a super cute glitter topper with a mix of big hot pink hexes and slightly smaller turquoise and white hexes. I've always loved the combination (hot)pink + tuquoise, so this polish is perfect for me.

Oh Wow! applied quite smoothly but I had to dab the glitters a bit on the nail, no major issues though! I layered one (dabbing) coat over Cadillacquer Yeah Science! and I think it makes a wonderful combination. I also added one layer of Essie Good to Go.

By the way, I'm so happy this polish comes in a square-ish bottle. I luv those bottles! + the packaging is too cute, Suzanne attached a little card to the polish!

Let it Glitter is available through Etsy, the polishes sell for €7 which is $9-10. Also, make sure to check out her blog and her Facebookpage!

Do you like this kind of glitter combinations?

The Breaking Bad Collection: Pinkman

Alright, I hope you are all ready for the Breaking Bad Collection by Cadillacquer? Well, you better be, because I will be posting one polish each day for 12 days. Keep on reading (and checking out pretty pictures) to find out more about Pinkman.

Pinkman is a soft, almost nude pink infused with gold sparkles and shimmer. It has a very subtle scattered holo effect, but this is very hard to capture. Shown in the pictures is 2 normal coats of Pinkman on it's own, without a topcoat.

Application-wise, all Cadillacquer polishes are sublime, amazing, wonderful. This one too applies like a dream! Drying time is okay; after painting 5 nails, the first nail was touch-dry and ready for a second coat.

Cadillacquer polishes are available on their website, and Harlow & Co will be carrying them too. The lacquers are $12,50 for 15 ml, which is pretty good for a) superdupercoolcombinationsandstuff, b) flawless formulas and c) Madeleine is so sweeeet.

Do you own any Cadillacquer polishes? Are you planning on buying some of the Breaking Bad Collection? (ofcourse you are)

The Dexter Collection: Have A Killer Day

Hope you're all having a killer day! Got it? HA! Today I will be showing you Have A Killer Day, the second polish from The Dexter Collection by Cadillacquer.

Have a Killer Day is a grey crelly base with various sizes of matte neon pink squares and matte neon coral hexes. It also has teeny tiny coral and purple glitter and a beautiful iredescent shimmer.

I put on 3 coats of Have A Killer Day to reach full opacity. It has a great glitter pay off, and again: no dabbing, dragging or fishing. Yay!

I think I captured this polish prrrrretty well. I was able to catch the shimmer too! The macros show the many things going on in this little lacquer. It's a beautiful combination with a nice balance between matte glitter and a gorgeous shimmer.

Make sure to like Cadillacquer's Facebookpage, to stay up-to-date. You can buy your own Cadillacquer on Etsy or Llarowe.

IT'S MA BIRTHDAAAAAAAY WHOOHOO!

Happy birthday to me, yay yay yay! Exactly 21 years ago, my mom and dad got the best present ever: MOI! And special occasions, ask for special manicures and this one is pretty special.

Two days ago I received a package all the way from Grenoble, France! One of my bestest besties ever, Lara (HI LARA!!) got me a Ciaté Caviar mini bar!! I was ecstatic when I opened the box: 4 mini nail polishes and 4 different caviar pearls! I think I died and went to nail polish heaven, because that is what it is! And ofcours, this had to be my b-day manicure.

For this caviaricure I used Knickerbockerglory and Candyshop and clear nail polish. I will probably review the whole box, so keep an eye out!

THANK YOU LARA AHHHHHHHHHH HAPPY HAPPY LOVE LOVE

WingDustCollections: Neon Black & Total Pink Bomb

Hi! Today I have two more WingDustCollections polishes to show you: Neon Black and Total Pink Bomb. I already kind of introduced Stephanie in one my previous post about WingDustCollections, which you can find here. Let's start off with Total Pink Bomb.

Total Pink Bomb definitely lives up to its name! There is no better description than Total Pink Bomb for this one! It is a pink jelly base with holo dust, hot pink glitter and holographic hexes. I used 3 coats and a topcoat.

The coats are just three thin to normal layers. The polish has the right consisteny and it really applied like a dream.

The picture below captures the different glitters pretty well. You can clearly see the tiny holo particles! I normally don't wear a lot of hot pinks, but I looove this one. It's a holo-thing, I guess haha!

Next up is Neon Black

Neon Black is a gunmetal base with flashes of lavender and blue shimmer. It is one of those polishes where at first you're like 'OK, seems like a simple grey polish to me', but when you are actually applying it you're like 'What is that? Is that purple? And blue? What? Oh my god!'

Again, I used 3 coats of Neon Black to get full opacity and it applied very smoothly. I almost forgot to mention that it has a semi-matte finish, but I used a top coat, so you can't see it. This polish was so hard to capture! I really couln't do it justice, it is so much more intriguing in real life.

In de close-up below you can see the blue particles and with a lot of willpower and a bit of imagination you can also see a lavender shimmer. Thank god!

You can buy WingDustCollections polishes on Etsy. Don't forget to check out their Facebookpage too!

Neon + Stripes = Inspired by Hey, Nice Nails!

Christmas is over, so let's get back to no-theme-nail art! For this manicure I was inspired by a Hey, Nice Nails! design. You can find the design here, it is in the upper right corner.

I really love how it turned out, the neon, the black and white. I think it matches pretty well!

For this manicure I used Only You - White French and BK #11 Glow in the Dark polish from Born Pretty Store. For the stripes I used NYC - City Blackout and a nail art brush. To seal it all in, I used Essence - Top Sealer (ofcours).

If you want to buy something at Born Pretty Store, don't forget to use my code AYJ61 and get 10% off!

What is your favourite design from Hey, Nice Nails! ?

Swatch: BK #11 Glow in the Dark

Today I will show you a swatch of BK Glow in the Dark nail polish in #11. This is a neon hot pink colour and it is perfect for these gloomy days.

I layered two coats of BK #11 over Only You - White French, which is a white polish. This way, the colour really pops out!

And here it is in the dark:

In the dark it has an orangy-red glow.

The polish is a bit thin -but easy to apply, and it smells quite different than my other nail polishes. You can buy BK at Born Pretty Store. Each bottle holds 7 ml and costs $2.99. They are available in 10 different colours, so make sure to take a look!

If you want to buy your own BK Glow in the Dark nail polish, don't forget to use my coupon code: AYJ61 and get 10% off!

Hot Pink Neon Studs

Look at how bright these studs are. JUST LOOK AT THEM!
I wasn't sure how to combine the bright pink studs, so I went for a neutral base colour. Can do no wrong with a neutral, right?

These studs are super bright! I expected them to be bright, but not this bright!
And they're easy to apply on your nails: just put on a bit of clear polish where you want the stud, pick it up and put it in place. Add a layer of topcoat and you're good to go.

Products used for this manicure:
Catrice - Cotton Candy at Eiffel Tower
Gosh - Neon Baby
*Pink Neon studs from Born Pretty Store
Essence - Sealing topcoat

You can get these studs at Born Pretty Store for $4.84. They also sell them in neon yellow/green. Don't forget to use my code AYJ61 and get 10% discount on your entire order!
