SmoothNails Random Swatches | Swatch & Review

Well, hello there. First of all: Merry Christmas! 2017 is almost here and one of my New Year's resolutions is to start blogging more frequently again. My goal is to post at least 1 post per week. Sounds reasonable, right? It should be doable for me too. Not that I will have more time on my hands in 2017, oh hell no. I just have to make time to sit down, do my nails, take the pics and post them. So what have you been up to? What are your New Year's resolutions? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, for today's blogpost I have some random swatches for you. I will be showing you 5 (yes 5, not 4 as pictured in the header) SmoothNails colours. Some are festive, some are not, but all are beautiful. Want to see more? Then keep reading! <3

Le Rouge - Le Rouge is a lollypop pink crème. The pigmentation is meh, it could be better. It also goes on a bit streaky because of the lack of pigmentation. All in all, a nice colour, however it is not my cup of tea as I rarely wear 'real' pinks. This is 3 coats.

Skinny - Skinny is a very light, soft peach crème with a subtle shimmer. Again, the formula was lacking some punch, but the colour is great. I am all for a soft nude peach from time to time. This one is especially great when you are not used to wearing anything on your nails at all. It is elegant, subdued and perfect for anyday. This is 3 coats.

Emerald Green - Emerald Green is a Christmas green with a golden shimmer. The formula is a bit streaky and it pulls back over the free edge, so you have to work quickly when applying this gem. In my opinion, it is a great alternative to the classic Christmas red. It is vampy, sexy and yet wearable. This is 3 coats.

Goji Berry - Goji Berry is a bright red jelly. The formula is very pigmented, but because of its jelly consistency I find it a bit difficult to apply. You have to work very carefully, otherwise you cuticles will flood and it will look like a scene from Dexter. Not cute. This is 3 coats.

Blue Bay - Blue Bay is a bright blue with a glowing shimmer. The formula was super pigmented and the polish was easy to work with. It literally glided onto my nail. Usually, this kind of colours is not my thing, however I kind of dig it. I probably would not wear this for 2 weeks straight, but I have to admit that I like it. This is 2 coats.
