Today's challenge is... Candy Canes! Really excited about this one, because I used my first Essie EVER and because I used a superstunning indie Polish: Moon Shine by Forever Polished. The lovely Ashley from Forever Polished sent me a few of her gorgeous polishes and I will post a swatch every week, and that for FIVE WEEKS!
Alright, onto the Challenge! So today's Candy Canes and I was so happy with this theme. I wanted to do a candy cane pattern for so long, but I never got to it. So today was the perfect day!
As I already mentioned, I used Essie's Leading Lady on my thumb and my pinky. It's my first Essie and it didn't dissapoint me at all. Great application, great colour, quick drytime and I only needed two coats. Then for my index finger and my ring finger I used Only You - White French, H&M - Cherry and nail art brushes from Born Pretty Store. Then for my middle finger, I painted on a layer of Only You - White French and I topped it off with 2 coats of Forever Polished - Moon Shine.
Who of you likes candy canes? Everyone? Duh..

ReplyDeleteWhen I started painting them I was like 'Ow god, why did wanted thin lines, WHY?' but they came out quite good, so I'm HAPPEY!
