Pink Gellac Glamourize Collection | Swatch & Review

Hey guys! It is November already, so people will be setting up their Christmas trees soon (or have already, you always have those people who just loooove the holidays) and that means: holidays! And holidays ask for special collections, of course. So here I am today with the new Glamourize Collection by Pink Gellac.

The collections consists of five new glittery colours. They all look great on their own, however some could be layered over another colour. In my pictures, I swatched them on their own, just so you can see how well they build up to opacity.

Now, enough talking, show me some glittah! And you know you like picture-heavy post, so this one is no different. <3

174 Diva Gold - Awwww, you gold digger! Gold Diva is a gold shimmer base with various sizes of gold hex glitter. This colour builds up to complete opacity, but could be used as a glitter topper as well however because of the shimmer base your base colour will look more gold. Obviously. It will also make a great accent nail or glitter gradient. I must say, despite being so glittery, this polish applies really well and it has a nice consistency to work with. This is 3 coats, but 2 will be enough.

175 Stardust Gold - I'm in loooove with the holo. Stardust Gold has a shimmer base that shifts from a bright gold to a sheer purple and is filled with blurple holographic hex glitter. This could be built up to opacity, however when it shifts to the purple you will see your natural nail. Layered over a darker colour like navy blue or black, the gold really catches your eye and is very pronounced. Application-wise, this one was a tad more difficult than Diva Gold, because the glitter move around. But you can always set them in place with a toothpick before you cure your nails, so no big deal! This is 2 coats on its own.

176 Mysterious Black - Ooh lala, très sexy. Mysterious Black is a slightly tinted sheer black base with fine silver shimmer filled with black hex glitter and small silver hex glitter. The first thing that came to mind when seeing this polish was: Lace! Thights! Sexaaay! I have not tried to layer it, because I am not quite sure over which colour I could put it? It will give lighter colours a smoked feel, and it will not show up a lot over a darker base.. Maybe a dark burgundy red will look pretty? I will give it a try! This colour does not build up to complete opacity, but I love the see-through look. This is 2 coats.

177 Glitterize Black - Baby, you're a fiiiiiiirework! Glitterize Black is a black jelly base filled with multicoloured glitter. It builds op to complete opacity, it applies wonderful and it looks great. Needless to say: I love this polish, not only for the holidays. I think something like this will look good all year round. It is sophisticated and sleek, but with a twist. And it reminds me of fireworks, yay! This is 3 coats, but 2 is surely enough.

178 Ultimate Red - Hey Santa! Ultimate Red is a red base with bright red shimmer and just screams Christmas. For some reason this polish reminds me of pin-up girls, I always imagine them rocking a bright red lip, so this colour will truly match them. This polish applies so nicely and smoothly even though it is completely filled (really filled) with glitter. This is 2 coats.

Overall, I am so impressed with this collection. I was missing some glitters in the Pink Gellac collection, so when these new colours landed on my doorstep I was over the moon. I will definitely be wearing one (or more) of these polishes during the holidays.

Which colour is your favourite?
