Pink Gellac Uncovered1: Dry Brush | Nail Art

Pink Gellac Uncovered1 Dry Brush Nail Art

Hey you! Yesterday I showed you how to do a ruffian manicure using the new Pink Gellac Uncovered1 Collection. Today I have another nail art for you using one of my favourite techniques ever: the dry brush technique.

The dry brush technique is a nail art technique using the brush of your nail/gel polish bottle. You wipe of the excess gel polish and paint on small strokes onto your nail. It looks great on it's own, but it also makes a nice base for your nail art.

I started out with painting my nails 2 coats of Soft White, curing in between each layer. The first gel polish I used for the brush strokes was Champagne. I made sure there was no excess gel polish on my brush before I went in and painted shorter and longer strokes on each nail. When I was happy with the result, I cured it in my LED lamp and moved onto the next colour. I used every shade of the Uncovered1 collection :-D. When I was done with the brush strokes, I painted on thin lines using Soft White and Fabulous Silver to give it some extra dimension. Added some top coat and we're done!

I really like this nail art, it looks a bit like marble!
