Hey guys! Today I will be showing you two nail polishes from the Sophin Cosmetics Macaroons Collection. Sophin Cosmetics is a nail polish brand based in Germany. Besides a whole variety of big 5-free (!) nail polishes, they also offer nail care products, base and top coats. First I have Sophin 340, a soft nude baby pink cream perfect for everyday or as a base for nail art. This polish has such a nice formula and it glides on like butter. Sophin made a great first impression with this one; a gorgeous on-trend colour, great consistency, easy application. Shown above is 2 beautiful coats with Sophin Super Fast Quick Dry Top Coat over Sophin Base Coat.
Next I have Sophin 341, a pastel mint green cream. As for the past three (or four, who knows!) years, mint green has been a Spring and Summer favourite of many woman. Mine too! I own quite a few minty greens and this one comes reaaaaally close to OPI That's Hula-rious!. I will probably do a comparison soon, so keep an eye out for that one. As for the formula of 341, the first coat goes on a bit streaky, but the second coat evens it all out. I added a third coat, just in case. ;-) I swatched the polish over Sophin Base Coat and finished with a layer of Sophin Super Fast Quick Dry Top Coat.
I am very excited about Sophin; the quality of the nail polishes is so so good, the colours are beautiful, the formula is heavenly. What more to ask for?
I will be posting some more Sophin nail polishes over the next few weeks as well as a wear test of their Gellac line. And probably some nail art, too, who knows!
