12 Days of Christmas: Snowflakes

Another quick post! Today's theme of the Christmas Challenge is Snowflakes. I used this Youtube tutorial by IndigoNova1, make sure to check out her channel! Hers are way more beautiful, but I am quite pleased with mine too. No, I actually really love them. They came out waaaay better than I had expected, yay!

So I used Bourjois Blue Water as a base colour, I drew the snowflakes with a white polish: Only You White French and these nail art brushes from Born Pretty Store. After that I added some ILNP Matthew Peri glitter around the snowflakes and I topped it all with my all-time favourite topcoat: Essence Top Sealer.

I Love Nail Polish Swatches

I Love Nail Polish (or I <3 Nail Polish or I<3NP) is a super fun indie polish brand, created by the lovely Barbra. And today I'm sharing a few of her polishes.

The packaging and labeling is really professional and it gives it all a very luxurious feel.

Now onto the swatches and close-ups. Each photo shows 1 coat on the pinky and ring finger, 2 coats on the middle finger and 3 coats on the index finger.

First up is Blow Pop layered over Kiko 340. It has blue, purple and pink glitter, all the same size. Blow Pop was great to apply, its consistency is not too thick nor too thin and it dries pretty quick!

This one's Her Highness! It has different sizes of gold, reddish brown and fuchsia glitter and I really love the round and  hexagonal pink ones. It feels a bit thinner than the other polishes, but application-wise it glides on like butter. Here you see it layered over Catrice Birdy Reloaded.

Matthew Peri. Oh how I love Matthew Peri! This polish is just packed with periwinkle, gunmetal, dark blue, and holographic glitters in different sizes and shapes. Its consistency is good, not hard to work with at all and you get on a lot of glitter. Dry time is the same as the other. I layered it over Catrice It's All I Can Blue (luv luv).

And here is Fully Turqued. I have nothing like this in my nail polish collection and so I was thrilled to try this one. It's a combination of black and white small, hexagonal and bar glitter and square turquoise glitter. This has the thickest formula and was a little bit harder to apply. It also smells different than the other polishes.

The polish comes in a beautiful box (shown at the top of this post) and the bottles are labeled, bottom and front and have a rubber cap for better grip. Each polish is 12 ml and 3-free.

So overall, I'm really impressed by this polish brand. Great polishes, great combinations, great presentation, awesome names.
