My First Stamping Experience - Born Pretty Store | Nail Art & Review

Hey guys! Long time no see, I'm sorry! I had the busiest month ever because of exams, presentations and all that jazz. But that's all over and I'm now a Master Multilingual Business Communication, yay!

Alright, onto the blogpost. Today I will be showing you the result of my first stamping experience. Yes, I ventured into the magical (and mysterious) world of stamping. If you want to know what my thoughts are, then please keep reading ;-) <3

Details:

I am by no means an experienced stamper, so I can't tell you wether the stamper is squishy or hard or whatever. I watched a lot of Youtube videos and I can say that it's not as squishy as the marshmallow stamper and not as hard as the original Konad one. You really can push it onto your nail.

I did not use the scrapers that came with the stamper. To scrape off the excess nail polish of the plates, I used an old rail pass, it's the same card as a credit card.

I did need some practice to get the hang of the scraping and stamping, and I have not yet perfected it. YET. It's actually really hard if you never stamped before. The ladies on Youtube make it seem so easy breezy. But it's not :-D. The plate I used is the BP L015 and it costs $5.99 and it has 14 full nail designs and 9 smaller detail designs. It is a floral, forest-y themed plate, and it's perfect year-round. The stamper I used is the double sided stamper which sells for $4.46. It has the stamper with a 3cm white stamper head and a white 1 cm head. It comes with 2 scrapers (which I did not use). You can get 10% off if you use the coupon code THL91.

I am so excited to discover all these wonderful stamping things, like serious. I tried some reverse stamping and it looks so goooood. Much better than freehanding. I am also planning on making some decals, whoop!
