Hi guys! In just a month it is Spring, yay! The days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter, finally. And a new season means new collections. Today I will be showing the brand spanking new Pink Gellac collection, the V.I.P. collection. In this case V.I.P. stands for Very Impressive Pinks. you guessed it: it is an all-pinks collection. Five new unique pink colours to brighten up your day. So, enough rambling, right? RIGHT. Come on, show me some swatches! <3 (as always, this is a very picture-heavy post!)
179 Lovely Pink - Lovely Pink is a soft baby pink with an iridescent golden glow. It has a great formula and it glides on like butter: super smooth and easy. I must say, even though Lovely Pink is a baby pink, it is still a very wearable colour for everyday. And I think it will be flattering on a lot of skintones. This is 3 coats, but 2 might be enough.
180 Flamingo Pink - Flamingo Pink is a orang-y coral with a frost finish. A frost, so that means floating your brush over the nail to minimize streaks. At first I thought Flamingo Pink was going to be less opaque than it actually is. Again, it has a very nice formula and this will look amazing when my skin is a bit more tan. This is 3 coats, but 2 will probably be enough.
181 Partylicious Pink - Partylicious Pink is a bright fuchsia pink jelly base infused with a warm pink/gold micro glitter. Talking about an eyecatcher! It is so SO gorgeous. It applies super smooth and there is no dragging whatsoever. Bonus: it looks amazing over black. This is 3 coats.
182 Dynamic Pink - Dynamic Pink is a red pink crème and it has a very subtle cool shimmer. The shimmer is not very noticable but it adds an extra dimension to the colour. Do not let this one fool you, Dynamic Pink is a bright shade but it is not neon. It is extremely flattering and fun but not too much. And of course, the formula is amazing, again. It is on the thinner side, but it is very pigmented and it has a flawless application. This is 2 coats.
183 Sparkling Pink - Sparkling Pink is a sheer red-pink jelly base with various sizes of hot pink glitter. Application-wise, this one had some minor issues. When applying this glitter polish there might be some dragging, but nothing abnormal. And because it is a gel polish, just grab a toothpick, adjust the glitter and cure when you are completely happy with the result. This is 3 coats.
Dat eerste kleurtje is erg mooi.
